Job summary

Talbots is seeking a Merchandise Planner in Hingham, MA to drive omni-channel planning and financial targets. You will partner with Planning, Allocation and Merchandising to develop sales, gross margin, and inventory plans for your department.

Responsibilities include weekly OTB re-forecasting, analyzing product mix by dept/class/style, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize profitability. A strong background in retail planning and Excel proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising or related field.
• 5-7+ years planning experience in retail.
• Experience with omni-channel planning and product mix analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly OTB re-forecasting aligned with company direction.
• Analyze product mix performance across dept, class, and style/color levels.
• Proactively identify issues and opportunities within product mix and drive profitable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize omni-channel profitability.
