Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking an Obsolescence & Logistics Analyst in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on evaluating microelectronic and COTS component availability for Army platforms, performing obsolescence research and providing engineering recommendations.

You will coordinate with OEMs and support sustainment across multiple programs. The position requires a DoD clearance-eligible candidate, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and customer interface skills required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, organize, plan and administer provisioning, spares, or maintenance activities for programs.
• Provide predictive obsolescence research and engineering recommendations.
• Identify sustainment and supply chain issues for Army platforms and report metrics.
• Interface with OEMs and sources to verify part numbers, NSNs and availability.
• Support reverse engineering of hybrid chip sets and ASICs; develop specs and verification procedures.
• Prepare management and customer reports detailing sustainment findings and risks.
