Job summary

CCV, a Columbus, Ohio-based nonprofit, seeks a Finance & Operations Specialist to support daily financial operations, build analytical tools, and assist with dashboards and variance reporting.

Reporting to the CFO, you will manage SGO transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with leadership on financial strategy in a full-time, office-based role in Columbus with occasional statewide travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or data analysis; nonprofit experience is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and AI tools for streamlining workflows; experience with QuickBooks or similar software; nonprofit GAAP understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track financial transactions specific to the Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO).
• Collaborate with CEN staff to prepare scholarships and troubleshoot donation/distribution issues; ensure donor receipting and disbursement tracking in compliance with regulations.
• Build and maintain financial reporting and dashboards for CFO and leadership; monitor KPIs, budget vs. actuals, and cash flow trends; prepare variance analyses.
• Support full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable coverage; assist with credit card reconciliations and bank deposits; aid in audits.
