Job summary

Camelback Ventures is seeking an experienced nonprofit finance leader to guide the financial strategy, management, and systems that support our mission and long-term sustainability. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution.

You will advise the CEO, Leadership Team, and Board while also staying close to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounting, grants, compliance, and financial operations.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of hands-on nonprofit financial leadership at the Controller level or above.
• Strong nonprofit accounting and finance experience, including financial reporting and audits.
• Expertise with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial analysis.
• Experience advising executives and communicating financial information to Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, scenario modeling, and financial reporting.
• Oversee accounting ops, payroll, audits, Form 990, and compliance.
• Manage grants, including budgets, spending, and funder reporting.
• Strengthen finance systems, policies, workflows, and external partnerships.
