Job summary

Inspiration Field in La Junta, Colorado seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations, including payable/receivable, statements, budgeting, and long-range projections, with oversight of IT and quality enhancement.

The CFO reports to the CEO, supervises Finance, IT, QE, and internal investigations, and ensures GAAP compliance and policy adherence while supporting a person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• GAAP knowledge and strong financial controls.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and audits.
• Ability to manage multiple finance functions and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping and accounting functions and supervise finance department staff.
• Maintain financial records and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and board reporting.
• Develop annual budget and long-range financial projections.
• Oversee IT, QE, internal investigations, and grant writing as applicable.
• Supervise HIPAA compliance and agency insurance coverage.
