Job summary

Wegner CPAs is seeking a Controller Supervisor to join the Accounting Solutions Group, providing outsourced accounting leadership to nonprofit clients. You will lead client financial operations, manage budgeting/forecasting, and present financial insights to boards and leadership teams.

In this role, you will develop KPIs, ensure strong internal controls, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and engagement teams. Strong communication and relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, controllership, or a related role.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Experience in Non Profit Accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, projections, and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including cash flow forecasting.
• Assist clients with the development and preparation of annual operating budgets.
• Analyze financial performance, trends, profitability, and key business drivers.
• Prepare complex KPIs and other management reporting.
