Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Fayette and Franklin Counties seeks a Chief Executive Officer to scale the organization into an affordable housing developer with a charitable mission. This role leads a 47-person staff across diverse operations, setting strategy and delivering results.

The CEO will align finance, operations, and development, build partnerships with local, state and federal agencies, and drive fundraising and donor engagement to expand land pipelines and CHDO opportunities.

Qualifications

• Financial acumen to lead a sizable, diverse organization with multiple lines of business.
• Proven record of taking initiatives underway to completion with disciplined project management.
• Experience working with local, state and federal partners to secure capital and grants, plus fundraising and donor cultivation.
• Creative and innovative thinking about sustainability in affordable housing or related field.
• Experience leading and collaborating with an established, long-tenured team including change management.
• Clear, respectful communication with staff, board, funders and the broader community.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize the financial position and create a sustainable operating model.
• Meet commitments on Marquard Field and secure the land pipeline.
• Increase annual home production to ten and advance CHDO designation.
