Job summary

The Arc of Chester County seeks a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization in its mission to empower people with disabilities. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors and collaborates with senior leadership to advance advocacy, programs, and financial strength.

Key responsibilities include shaping a 5-year strategic plan, guiding program and fiscal operations, developing staff and external partnerships, and representing the organization in boards and community forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, human services, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Experience partnering with an executive team and Board of Directors.
• Experience leading, managing, and developing staff and teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to advocacy for the disability community.

Responsibilities

• Embrace The Arc of Chester County’s mission and values.
• Develop and execute the 5-year strategic plan with leadership.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate Chief Officers and senior leadership.
• Oversee operations, finance, HR, and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Present performance reports to the Board and key parties.
• Represent the organization at boards, committees, and events.
• Research partnerships to advance the mission and visibility.
