The Arc Westchester seeks a seasoned, mission and values‑driven executive whose leadership combines strategic judgment, emotional intelligence, and deep commitment to advancing the lives of people with developmental disabilities to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). While there is no single pathway to this role, the successful candidate will bring experience, presence, and maturity aligned with the organization’s scale, community standing, and values.
The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, effectiveness, and sustainability of the organization, ensuring alignment with mission, values, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals. In close partnership with the Board and senior leadership team, the CEO sets and advances organizational strategy, oversees execution of the strategic plan, ensures high‑quality, person‑centered services across a complex service portfolio, and ensures the organization remains well positioned to respond to emerging opportunities and challenges. The role includes oversight of a complex, multi‑service organization with a significant geographic footprint, a large and diverse workforce, and a funding structure heavily reliant on public reimbursement.
The salary range for this position annually is between $330,000 - $385,000 and will be commensurable with experience.
