Job summary

Perry Homes in Houston is seeking a Project Planner responsible for processing new home starts and ensuring accurate submittals, releasing homes on schedule to meet company goals. This role collaborates with Division Presidents, Construction teams, and other departments to support essential processes and successful project execution.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Foster, build, and maintain relationships with municipalities and developers, regularly meeting and traveling to maintain strong, collaborative partnerships.
• Manage and process new home starts for assigned markets, ensuring all required steps are completed efficiently.
• Strategically evaluate the processing of new home starts to achieve company goals and establish an even flow of releases.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and achieve shared goals.
• Identify issues and find effective solutions to maintain progress of new home starts.
• Review and maintain NHS tools, such as the Community Matrix, How-To guides, and Site Planner Matrix, to reflect up-to-date community requirements.
