Job summary

Nestlé USA in Solon, OH is seeking a Network Planner Specialist to own end-to-end inventory deployment, allocation, and planning decisions across plants, DCs, and regions. You will drive timely, data-informed decisions under uncertainty and ensure alignment with planning assumptions and business priorities.

Collaborate with planning, logistics, and execution teams to optimize service, cost, and working capital while delivering KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2-5+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or related fields.
• Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Strong ability to analyze data and turn insights into actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required; Power BI preferred) and ability to leverage AI-enabled tools for planning.
• Experience with planning systems (e.g. SAP, OMP).
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own short- and mid-term inventory deployment decisions across plants, DCs, and regions to meet targets.
• Identify supply risks using horizon-based analysis and capacity constraints.
• Monitor system alerts and resolve inventory imbalances with cross-functional teams.
• Make trade-off decisions between service, cost, capacity, and waste within guardrails.
• Define and govern allocation strategies and final mitigation decisions.
