Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Engineering (Americas) to partner with peers and solution architects to shape the network strategy and technology roadmap for North and Latin America. You will own execution, delivery, and budget across the Americas, guiding modernization including SD-WAN and SASE.

You will lead a distributed team across sites in the region, drive network observability maturity, and partner with global teams to ensure alignment with reference designs and standards

Qualifications

• 12+ years in network engineering across WAN, data center, and cloud networking.
• 5+ years leading and developing network engineering teams, including managers or senior ICs.
• Hands-on experience designing/deploying SD-WAN and SASE at enterprise scale.
• Experience building or maturing network observability programs with telemetry and monitoring.
• Ownership of a multi-million dollar network budget with vendor negotiation and cost optimization.
• Delivered network projects across multiple sites/regions with accountability for enterprise reliability.
• Strong executive communication skills to present strategy and budget to VP/C-suite.
• Experience managing distributed teams across North America and Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Shape technology strategy and roadmap, owning execution, delivery, and budget for the Americas region, including WAN modernization with SD-WAN and SASE.
• Advance network observability maturity with monitoring, telemetry, and automation platforms.
• Own the Americas network engineering budget, including capital planning, vendor and circuit cost management, and business case development for major initiatives.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage strategic vendor and carrier relationships.
• Lead, develop, and scale the Americas network engineering team across sites in NA and LATAM.
• Deliver network projects across WAN, data center, cloud networking, and wireless initiatives.
• Serve as senior escalation point for network infrastructure issues, driving root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
• Coordinate with EMEA and global architects to align delivery with reference designs and standards.
• Manage staffing plans, budget discipline, and resourcing across the Americas team, including Costa Rica as a continuity hub.
• Present technology strategy, budget requests, and program status to VP and executives.
• Represent the Americas network engineering function in leadership planning and future-state discussions.
