Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Engineering (Americas) to lead strategic network initiatives across North and Latin America, aligning with global standards. You will own the technology roadmap, drive modernization including SD-WAN and SASE, manage multi-year budgets, and develop high-performing teams across sites.

You will partner with solution architects and executives to translate complex networking programs into business outcomes, delivering reliable, scalable infrastructure

Qualifications

• 12+ years progressive experience in network engineering (routing, switching, WAN, data center, and cloud networking).
• 5+ years leading and developing network engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, or operating SD WAN and SASE architectures at enterprise scale.
• Experience building or maturing network observability programs (telemetry, monitoring, and automation).
• Ownership of a multi million dollar network budget, including capital planning, vendor negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Experience delivering network projects across multiple sites or regions, with accountability for enterprise scale reliability.
• Strong executive communication skills, with a track record of presenting strategy and budget to VP or C-suite stakeholders.
• Experience managing distributed teams across North America and Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Shape technology strategy and roadmap for the Americas region, owning execution, delivery, and budget, including WAN modernization with SD-WAN and SASE.
• Drive maturity of network observability across the region, with telemetry, monitoring, and automation platforms.
• Own the Americas network engineering budget, including capital and OPEX planning, vendor and circuit cost management, and business case development.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage vendor and carrier relationships across the region.
• Lead, develop, and scale the Americas network engineering team across North America and Latin America sites.
• Own delivery of network engineering projects across WAN, data center, cloud networking, and wireless initiatives.
• Serve as senior escalation point for network infrastructure issues, driving root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
• Align Americas delivery with global reference designs and standards; drive SD WAN, SASE, and observability tooling worldwide.
• Manage staffing plans, budget discipline, and resourcing across the Americas, including Costa Rica hub.
• Present technology strategy, budget requests, and program status to VP and executive stakeholders.
• Represent the Americas network engineering function in leadership planning and future state organization design discussions.
