Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Network Design Manager to lead a strategic account, directing a team of supervisors and analysts across inbound/outbound logistics. You will coordinate with customer operations, suppliers, and carriers to meet service levels and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of transportation management, and proven ability to manage budgets and cross-functional teams. Travel and collaboration across Penske locations are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in multiple supply chain service lines (transportation, warehousing, LLP, etc) required.
• 3–5 years of managerial or supervisory experience required.
• Strong understanding of operations and supporting technology, especially web-based applications.
• Knowledge of Transportation Management and systems is preferred.
• Proven track record of building relationships with stakeholders or customers with high satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Interview and hire salaried associates and define duties and scope of authority.
• Conduct performance reviews, corrective action, and goal setting for the team.
• Provide leadership and career development for direct reports.
• Manage day-to-day account activities and monitor carrier performance to optimize value.
• Review operating metrics and address out-of-tolerance results.
• Explain P&L, budget, and financial health of the operation to leadership.
