Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Vice President - North America Finance to partner with the EVP and leadership team, shaping strategy through financial insights and ROI analysis across Operations, Sales, Manufacturing, and Division Finance.

You will drive standardization, cost control, and scalable systems while building financial acumen, leading cost and investment decisions, and ensuring profitable growth for the North America region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent; strategic finance partner to senior leadership.
• Experience evaluating investments, capital projects, footprint decisions and capacity.
• Proven ability to advise on product line expansions, pricing, and contracts.
• Experience delivering financial education for leaders; simplify complex concepts.
• Leads process and systems improvements for consistency, visibility and efficiency.
• Strong accounting knowledge; CMA/CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic financial partner to North America leadership; provide ROI, cash flow, and enterprise value guidance.
• Drive alignment and standardization of systems, reporting, and key financial workflows.
• Develop and communicate strategy, KPIs, forecasts, and performance expectations.
• Evaluate P&L impacts of initiatives; advise on pricing, investments, and margins.
• Lead financial acumen training and build decision-support capabilities.
• Oversee costing, budgeting, and financial governance for manufacturing locations.
• Collaborate with Digital on finance-IT transformation initiatives.
