Simpson Strong-Tie seeks a Vice President – North America Finance to partner with senior leaders, shaping strategy and translating financial insights into actionable recommendations. You will lead critical budgeting, forecasting, and cost governance across manufacturing and sales functions.

The role emphasizes strategic investments, enterprise-value optimization, and training finance acumen to enable profitable growth and scalable systems nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proven strategic finance partner to senior leadership with influence across orgs.
• Experience evaluating investments, capital projects and footprints.
• Ability to translate financial insights into action for growth.
• Proven process, reporting, and systems improvement track record.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• 7 years accounting/analytic experience in manufacturing operations.
• CMA or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic financial partner to NA leadership evaluating investments and growth priorities.
• Provide financial recommendations grounded in cash flow, margin, ROI, and capital allocation.
• Drive alignment and standardization across North America Finance and streamline systems and workflows.
• Partner with executives to develop business strategy, KPIs, forecasts, and performance expectations.
• Evaluate P&L impacts and risks for strategic initiatives and customer agreements.
• Lead financial acumen training across the organization to improve decision-making.
• Oversee North America costing activities and strengthen cost governance.
• Collaborate with Digital on finance/operations system transformation initiatives.
• Lead, motivate and develop department staff with accountability and feedback.
