Job summary

Merlin Entertainments in Orlando seeks a Commercial Attorney to enable growth through strategic, high-impact deals in North America. You will partner with senior leadership to draft and negotiate key contracts, manage capital projects, and ensure policy compliance across divisions.

You will provide practical legal solutions, oversee legal tech platforms, and deliver internal training while supporting M&A, asset transactions, and disputes as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of legal experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SaaS, etc).
• J.D. degree and active Florida Bar in good standing; eligibility for Authorized House Counsel status in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Advise and lead legal considerations for high-impact commercial projects, capital investments, leases, acquisitions, brand protection, and new business opportunities across North American divisions.
• Lead contract drafting, negotiation, review, and execution; maintain standardized contract templates and ensure business-wide compliance with internal policies.
• Provide direct live project support to SLT and operating divisions from inception through completion, minimizing reliance on outside counsel.
