Job summary
Ardurra Group in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Municipal Planner to lead planning studies, master plans, and development reviews across municipal and regional projects. You will prepare and review applications, provide guidance to clients, and support public meetings and hearings.
The ideal candidate has strong writing and communication skills, knowledge of NJ MLUL, and experience with land use and zoning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in urban planning or related field.
- Professional Planner designation preferred or pursuing PP.
- 5+ years of planning experience; equivalent education considered.
Responsibilities
- Attend evening meetings and serve as client representative.
- Draft development review letters for municipal applications.
- Prepare and update municipal master plans and reexamination reports.
- Review zoning amendments and housing element plans.
- Support redevelopment investigations and ordinances drafting.
- Conduct research and provide guidance to clients.
