City of Kingman seeks a seasoned Finance Director to lead core financial operations, ensuring GASB compliance, robust internal controls, and strategic forecasting. You will oversee accounting, budgeting, CIP planning, debt management, and procurement, while mentoring the Finance Department staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or closely related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible managerial, supervisory, and administrative experience in government finance, accounting, budgeting, or closely related field; including significant supervisory responsibility.
• OR an equivalent combination of education, experience and training to the above minimum requirements.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, utility billing, assets, and grant administration.
• Lead the development, administration, and monitoring of the City’s annual operating budget and five-year Capital Improvement Program.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Finance Department personnel and administer decentralized procurement.
• Administer and monitor the City’s investment portfolio, cash management, and debt service activities.
