Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Extensive budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting in municipal sector.
• Strong ethics, transparency, and integrity in financial systems.
• Ability to develop and implement financial policies and controls.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; experience with financial management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Oversee budgeting, interfund transfers, and cash management.
• Prepare specialized financial reports for senior leadership and Board of Finance.
• Ensure GASB compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate finance department staff.
