Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely-related field is required.
• 2-4 years of professional accounting experience, with direct experience in municipal government, public sector fund accounting, or public sector budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliations of all municipal bank accounts and resolve variances.
• Assist in preparing annual operating and capital budgets and monitor spending against approved budgets.
• Maintain general ledger and post journals, including accruals and year-end entries.
• Support year-end ACFR preparation and external audit processes, including Note Disclosures.
