Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Security Engineering to lead a team of security architects and engineers designing, implementing, and operating enterprise network security across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.

You will translate risk and business requirements into scalable, secure network solutions, build trusted advisor relationships with IT and business units, and drive security architecture, governance, and incident response with a focus on Zero Trust,

Qualifications

• Typically requires 9+ years of progressive network security engineering experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience building and leading technical teams.
• Ability to translate risk and regulatory requirements into technical architecture and roadmaps.
• Experience securing hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) including Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of network security architects and engineers.
• Shape and communicate a multi-year network security strategy and roadmap.
• Design and implement robust network security architectures with Zero Trust and hybrid/multi-cloud in mind.
• Drive network automation initiatives to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
• Oversee deployments and lifecycle management of security technologies (Firewalls, Zscaler, NAC, IDS/IPS, SD-WAN).
• Maintain security documentation, standards, and runbooks.
