Job summary

Mahomed Sales Warehouse LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to support Buyer Planners in maintaining material flow for production. The role emphasizes MRO PO management, cost tracking, and ensuring on-time deliveries while handling supplier changes and internal compliance.

You will maintain MRO inventory levels, confirm POs, resolve A/P issues, and work within ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 frameworks. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant experience in supply chain.
• Minimum 3 years in buying, planning, or customer service in manufacturing.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Strong experience with MRP systems and operations knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel (pivot tables).
• Strong negotiation, teamwork, problem solving, and presentation skills.
• Able and willing to work all shifts and hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyer Planners to maintain material continuity for production.
• Complete MRO PO management from quote to receipt.
• Maintain correct MRO inventory levels for office materials and consumables.
• Track PO cost changes to prevent supply gaps and price impact.
• Input approved supplier cost changes to ensure correct purchase values.
• Confirm Purchase Orders and escalate variances in cost or due date.
• Maintain customer compliance action item list.
• Resolve accounts payable issues.
• Track expedited freight with Pareto analysis.
• Review material shortage reports to prioritize requirements.
• Participate in root cause corrective actions for past due orders.
• Build internal/external relationships; escalate when needed.
• Create and maintain work instructions per ISO 9001 & IATF 16949.
• Drive supplier recovery plans to achieve on-time delivery.
