Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ purchasing and materials management experience.
• Experience procuring MRO, shop items, BOMs and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with Excel; JobBOSS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Quoting, negotiating and order placement for MRO and emergency items.
• Implementation of VIM system for standard hardware and shop support items.
• Purchase indirect shop tooling, cutters, and consumables.
• Develop cost-saving strategies and volume discounts for MRO buys.
• Create and process emergency purchase orders to support weekend schedules.
• Track shipments and monitor open orders in Job Boss for PLW Houston.
