Job summary

This role collaborates with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Reliability, Safety, Finance, and storeroom to optimize inventory, supplier performance, total cost, and working capital.

Qualifications

3+ years purchasing, materials, inventory, or supply chain experience
Experience with ERP/CMMS platforms and MS Office 365
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills
Ability to interpret technical specifications and vendor quotes
Knowledge of MRO materials and industrial procurement practices
Experience supporting manufacturing environments preferred
Professional certification such as CPSM/CPIM/CSCP is a plus

Responsibilities

Purchase MRO materials, spare parts, consumables, equipment, rentals and repair services.
Create, issue, expedite, revise and close purchase orders; confirm pricing, quantities, delivery dates and terms.
Support urgent plant needs by sourcing critical items with proper approvals and records.
Coordinate purchasing for preventive maintenance, outages, and capital projects.
Resolve order discrepancies, damaged shipments, and invoice issues with suppliers and AP.
