The role focuses on driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, optimizing inventory, and influencing procurement strategy across the plant. Collaboration with operations, maintenance, engineering, and finance is essential to meet plant objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Proven category management experience required.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and project management skills.
• Advanced Excel; SAP experience preferred.
• Freight experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage category strategies for MRO and other indirect spend.
• Lead RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Identify cost reduction and inventory optimization opportunities through spend analysis.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and finance to support plant objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships and implement sourcing best practices.
• Present business cases showing measurable savings and process improvements.
