Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Purchasing Agent focused on Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) spend to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing across several sites in the Rigid Packaging Solutions North America group. You will source, negotiate, and manage orders under supplier agreements to drive cost savings and inventory performance.

The role requires analyzing usage, managing relationships with plants and suppliers, and supporting continuous improvement in procurement processes to sustain production

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a business-related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Prior procurement or supply chain experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze MRO purchasing, inventory, and spare parts data to set stocking strategies.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels for critical and non-critical maintenance items.
• Identify and reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving MRO items.
