Job summary

LyondellBasellis, a leader in the chemical industry, seeks a MOWP & SAP Specialist to drive planning, scheduling and maintenance excellence at our Houston sites. You will standardize SAP PM usage, ensure accurate master data, and collaborate with site teams to maximize productivity and time on tools.

The role focuses on improving planning accuracy, deploying standardized processes, and reporting key maintenance metrics across sites. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in chemical plant or refinery operations or maintenance
• 5+ years of experience in a maintenance planning, scheduling, or supervisory role in chemical plant/refinery
• Knowledge of Primavera, Prometheus Scheduler, MS Project or similar
• Advanced knowledge of SAP PM and MM; SAP PS preferred
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%

Responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance work processes at manufacturing sites and identify inefficiencies against MOWP standards
• Assess site maintenance organizations including planning, scheduling, staffing, skills and capability
• Close gaps across the maintenance workflow by proposing solutions and supporting adoption of best practices
• Develop methodologies to improve time and cost estimates using standards and field experience
• Create procedures and training materials for high-quality planning, scheduling, execution and closeout
• Identify and monitor KPIs to measure maintenance process effectiveness
• Own SAP PM module usage across sites and ensure data integrity
• Coordinate SAP PM enhancements with IT and site teams
• Drive continuous improvement of SAP PM functionality with user feedback and testing
