Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti North America is seeking a Specialist, Mine Maintenance Planner to plan maintenance for the open-pit mobile fleet in Nevada. You will develop maintenance strategies, create detailed job plans, and coordinate with operations to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.

The role requires extensive experience with CMMS/SAP PM, strong collaboration across maintenance and operations, and the ability to work in a hybrid schedule in the United States.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or heavy equipment technology preferred.
• CMRP or equivalent designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in mobile maintenance, maintenance planning, or heavy equipment operations within open-pit mining.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive job plans including labor, tools, parts, and safety protocols.
• Plan PM, PdM, and corrective maintenance for open-pit mobile equipment fleet.
• Coordinate with operations to align maintenance with production targets.
• Manage SAP PM work orders, parts, and maintenance history data.
• Support budget forecasting and KPI tracking for maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and reliability standards.
