Job summary

Adyen seeks a Merchant Onboarding Manager to guide merchants through the early onboarding stages onto the Adyen platform. You will work closely with Sales Management, Compliance, Underwriting, Account Management, and other teams to ensure a smooth handover from commercial to operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in commercial, compliance, project management, or related fields.
• Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships across teams and regions.
• Comfortable owning complex processes end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial acumen.
• Able to balance compliance requirements with commercial priorities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Prior Salesforce experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand Adyen’s product offering and advise merchants on best leverage.
• Partner with Sales Management and Compliance to shape onboarding for complex deals.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory and scheme compliance requirements.
• Consolidate operational touchpoints into a streamlined process.
• Engage directly with merchants for a smooth rollout.
• Drive decision-making through data analysis and insights.
• Act as a consultative partner to Sales, Account Management, Compliance, and prospects.
• Interact with merchants to ensure accurate setup and a seamless launch.
• Educate internal teams on relevant regulatory updates.
• Contribute to process improvements that support global scalability.
