MSC Industrial Supply Co. seeks a Merchandising Manager to lead the product line strategy and partner with marketing, web teams and sales to present the offering effectively.

You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate data, compelling copy, and optimized product presentation across e-commerce and print materials. This role requires a business/marketing background, 3+ years of related experience, and strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or the equivalent related work experience is required.
• Minimum of three years of related experience required.
• Product development experience required (Examples: identification of new products, competitive analysis, value to customer, sell price strategy etc.)
• Marketing and advertising campaign development experience required (Examples: catalog layout, web, print media, promotional advertising, supplier interaction etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Owns the merchandising view of the product assortment including governance to drive profit and customer conversion/growth.
• Supports the item lifecycle management of the Product Assortment determined by the Category Manager.
• Cross reference competitive part numbers and manage data models, taxonomy and attributes for their product lines.
• Develops product family groupings and table view templates to meet customer expectations.
• Reviews product advertising/views for print and web to maximize advertising impact and sales growth.
• Maintains data accuracy and coordinates with suppliers to rework copy, specs and media assets.
• Works with suppliers to collect media neutral data for e-commerce and print media.
• Monitors pricing, promotions, marketing materials, and AB tests to optimize performance.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders across category management, sales, suppliers, marketing, digital, inventory, and operations.
• Supports travel up to 10% and engages with sales teams for product line strategy.
