Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or the equivalent related work experience is required.
• Minimum of three years of related experience required.
• Product development experience required (identification of new products, competitive analysis, value to customer, sell price strategy).
• Marketing and advertising campaign development experience required (catalog layout, web, print media, promotional advertising, supplier interaction).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are required.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Strong PC skills are required.
• Negotiation skills required.
• Bonus Points If You Have: Working knowledge of industrial products preferred.
• Other Requirements: A valid driver's license is required. Travel up to 10%.

Aufgaben

• Owns the merchandising view of the product assortment including governance to drive profit and customer conversion/growth.
• Supports the item lifecycle management of the Product Assortment: new item induction, phase outs and substitutions, cross reference.
• Creates the data model and governance strategy; owns taxonomy, schema and attribute configurations.
• Determines product title structure and required features/benefits for series and items.
• Develops product family groupings and view templates to meet customer expectations.
• Reviews product advertising/views for print and web to maximize advertising impact and sales growth.
• Maintains data accuracy and completeness; collaborates with suppliers and product info specialists to improve copy, specs, and visuals.
• Works with suppliers to collect media-neutral data for all media including e-commerce and print.
• Monitors merchandising view using analytics to improve conversion and margins.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with category management, sales, suppliers, marketing, digital, inventory management, and operations.
• Implements product line strategies across markets and channels; identifies new SKUs.
