Job summary

SBH Fashion seeks a Merchandise Planner to own demand forecasting and inventory across multiple sales channels and categories. You will build SKU-level forecasts, analyze performance, and translate data-driven insights into recommendations for assortment, OTB, replenishment, promotions, and markdown strategy.

Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or supply chain management.
• 4+ years of planning experience in multi-channel retail.
• Proficiency with retail math and analytics.
• Experience owning open-to-buy and SKU-level forecasting models.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with BI tools Looker, Tableau, Domo, Aleph, or similar.
• Familiarity with ERP/planning systems (NetSuite); DTC/wholesale exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to present insights to executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain demand and inventory forecasts across channels and product categories.
• Own the open-to-buy process from seasonal plan through in-season management.
• Develop SKU-level forecasts to support replenishment and seasonal buys.
• Analyze product performance (sales, margins, sell-through, turns) to inform reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to align inventory with goals.
• Coordinate with Sourcing and Logistics for timely PO delivery.
• Maintain product data hierarchy and accuracy for forecasting and reporting.
• Leverage BI tools and AI-assisted forecasting to surface insights.
