Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Associate Planner to develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans across brands, coordinating with merchants, inventory analysts and external brands to meet financial goals.

You will manage weekly, monthly and annual plans, analyze trends, and collaborate with finance and inventory teams to drive performance and optimize stock turns. This role emphasizes data-driven insights and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in merchandise planning, supply chain, finance or inventory.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of metrics (sales, margin, turn).
• Proficient with Excel; SAP or JDA knowledge a plus.
• Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchandise plans weekly, monthly and annually.
• Maintain inventory strategies and partner with external brands and merchants.
• Share projections and justify recommendations with financial reasoning.
• Collaborate with FPA on margins, receipts and bottom-line impact.
• Create reports on sales, inventory and turn; identify opportunities and risks.
• Lead or participate in category and enterprise initiatives.
