Job summary

Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, located in Orange County, is seeking a Sales Manager to drive group room, banquet, and catering revenue. You will work with the Sales and Catering team and hotel leadership to build client relationships, uncover opportunities, and promote meetings and events.

The role requires knowledge of market trends, proactive prospecting, and the ability to negotiate contracts, with occasional domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a Sales role in a 200+ room property with 10,000+ sq. ft. of meeting space.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to negotiate and influence prospects.
• Brand experience and AAA 4 Diamond experience preferred.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships and drive revenue through group and banquet business.
• Solicit new group business, focusing on small-to-mid-size meetings and corporate groups.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and execute group contracts.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales leadership to optimize pricing and availability.
