Job summary

Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort, managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, is seeking a Senior Catering Sales Manager to drive catering and banquet revenue. You will solicit new accounts and service existing clients while collaborating with the Director of Sales or Catering to meet property revenue goals.

The role includes mentoring the Catering Sales team and requires strong selling, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrate creativity and knowledge of food and beverage.
• Must possess developed verbal and written communication skills to negotiate, sell and influence others.
• Experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
• Proficiency in computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with strong organization and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Attain sales and revenue goals; meet solicitation call targets.
• Conduct sales tours and entertain clients by property type (Social, Corporate, Business, SMERF).
• Grow relationships with assigned accounts in Leisure, SMERF, BT, and Groups as applicable by property.
• Monitor market trends within the assigned segment.
• Maintain guest- and employee-focused, attentive service.
• Adhere to company catering/sales standards and policies.
• Develop knowledge of hotel operations and policies.
• Ensure timely generation of event orders and schedules.
