Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Director, Medical Value & Enablement within US Medical Affairs. This highly autonomous role leads strategic planning, transformation, and executive communications to turn clinical insights into measurable value.

You will synthesize external trends, internal data, and AI capabilities, guiding cross-functional teams and NOCCs across MSS. The position demands strategic problem solving and readiness to influence at the highest levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in business, life sciences, or healthcare required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years cross-enterprise experience in pharma/healthcare in strategy or transformation.
Demonstrated AI fluency through certification or practical use.
Ability to lead cross-functional transformation from strategy to value realization.
Ability to frame ambiguous challenges and develop evidence-based POVs.
Strategic-design capability including operating models and roadmaps.
Strong data-driven decision-making using analytics and stakeholder insight.
Highly agile in fast-paced environments with adaptability.

Responsibilities

Operate as autonomous advisor to VP and leadership, setting strategic agenda.
Frame ambiguous questions, test hypotheses, develop executive POVs.
Lead strategic planning across MSTs, Disease Clusters, and COEs.
Draft strategies, business cases, roadmaps, and executive recommendations.
Identify emerging needs and risks; maintain momentum in fast-changing environments.
Partner with NOCCs for execution and ensure value realization.
