Job summary

Prescott’s, Inc. is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to own total company purchasing across medical equipment service, repair, and refurbishment operations.

You will build and lead the procurement function, sourcing from OEMs and secondary markets, and manage indirect spend including freight, outsourced repair, MRO, facilities, and capital equipment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations or a related field required. An additional four years of directly applicable procurement experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 8–12 years of progressive procurement, purchasing, planning, or strategic sourcing experience, including at least 3 years directly managing people.
• Experience in medical device, healthcare technology management (HTM), or another regulated manufacturing or service environment is strongly preferred.
• Direct experience with service parts, aftermarket, depot repair, or field service supply chains — including obsolescence management, last-time buys, repairable cores, and exchange programs is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ownership of both direct and indirect spend, with a documented record of savings and cost avoidance.

Responsibilities

• Own total company procurement spend across direct materials and indirect categories.
• Develop and execute category strategies that reduce total cost of ownership while protecting equipment uptime.
• Build the annual procurement plan and savings pipeline; report savings, cost avoidance, and supplier performance to leadership.
• Set service parts stocking strategy to meet repair turnaround time and first-time-fix targets across depot and field service.
• Manage obsolescence and end-of-life risk on legacy platforms, including last-time-buy decisions.
• Lead RFI, RFQ, and RFP events; negotiate pricing and long-term supply agreements.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and lead formal reviews with strategic suppliers.
• Own procurement master data and transactional discipline in the ERP; oversee POs and receipts.
• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team; foster bench strength.
