Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced physician-leader to guide strategic planning, clinical quality, and operations across our medical centers. This role will liaise between Medical Staff and Management, champion value-based care, and drive physician recruitment and development.

The position requires MD/DO licensure, a Doctorate in Medicine, and at least 10 years of clinical experience with 5 years in management directing medical operations and quality programs.

Qualifications

• MD/DO licensed in the state where the team member practices.
• Education focused on Medicine.
• Experience required in clinical leadership and medical staff administration.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and leadership for medical center operations.
• Coordinate staffing for medical staff committees and leadership.
• Champion value-based care and monitor risk contract performance.
• Oversee physician recruitment, development, and productivity.
• Coordinate employment agreements, regulatory compliance, and credentialing.
• Direct a hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program and track outcomes.
• Lead capacity management to improve patient flow.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage clinical risk and infection control.
• Oversee human resources processes including hiring, evaluations, and morale.
• Develop relationships with community physicians and medical centers.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets and control expenditures.
