Snelling Austin is seeking a Buyer/Planner II to strategically source materials, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings. You will ensure MRP accuracy in ERP and support regulatory compliance and record-keeping.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to optimize procurement and production planning. A Bachelor's or Associate degree in related field is required, with 3+ years in procurement or planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in procurement, purchasing, planning and forecasting, preferably in medical device or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
• Understanding of Demand Planning in ERP via MRP output.

Responsabilités

• Source and procure materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Develop sourcing strategies to optimize cost savings and supplier performance.
• Evaluate Demand and MRP accuracy to create purchasing plans.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and address quality and delivery issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and QA to identify sourcing needs.
• Maintain procurement records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
