Job summary

Petauri seeks a Senior Account Executive to lead medical communications projects for assigned clients, coordinating across marketing, medical affairs, and cross-functional teams. The SAE will manage timelines, budgets, and strategic direction with limited oversight from senior staff.

The role requires strong client stewardship, exceptional written and verbal communication, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment within a US-based client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required with four to five years in medical communications.
• Oncology experience preferred; knowledge of pharma/phRMA guidelines.
• Experience leading tactical projects and supporting advisory boards, live meetings, and thought leader engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical communications projects from planning to closeout.
• Master agency processes and train others in Account Services.
• Schedule and lead project-related teleconferences with clients and internal team.
• Create project timelines and ensure team alignment.
• Develop project estimates and statements of work.
• Take primary responsibility for project financial health including expenses, forecasting, and hours tracking.
• Lead internal communications across departments and manage expectations.
• Identify potential new business opportunities by listening to client needs and gaps.
• Execute successful live and virtual client meetings, oversee logistics and on-site support when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Medical Writing, Editorial, Creative, Accounting) to ensure successful delivery.
• Support team growth and provide mentorship and feedback.
