Job summary

Zenith, part of Publicis Groupe, New York-based agency, is seeking a Planner, Strategy to support day-to-day media planning and strategy for our client. This role reports to the Supervisor/AMD, Strategy and collaborates with vendors to optimize media schedules, budgets, and buying specs.

You will participate in developing and executing media strategy, presenting plans, and maintaining performance reports, while leveraging multiple software tools and cross-channel media knowledge.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Marketing/Advertising or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in media planning.
• Agency experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to learn new proprietary software quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and execution of media strategy.
• Develop media strategies and recommendations under supervisor.
• Present media plans and maintain plans with objectives/strategies and updates.
• Maintain reports with competitive analysis using Strategy software.
• Prepare flowcharts and budgets for media plan development and maintenance.
• Issue buying specs and guidelines to buyers including delivery goals and budgets.
• Review and verify media buys for proper execution.
• Meet with vendor community to analyze value and applicability of media channels for client media plan.
