Job summary

KOMU 8, a full-powered NBC and CW affiliate owned by the University of Missouri-Columbia, seeks an Account Executive to drive local and regional media marketing solutions across broadcast and digital platforms.

You will manage an existing client list, grow revenue, and develop new campaigns while collaborating with marketing teams to deliver measurable results for businesses in Mid-Missouri.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in media or digital marketing sales.
• Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Strategic Communications, or related field.
• Knowledge of display advertising, email marketing, social/content marketing, SEM, SEO and streaming video is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to engage with decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Achieve all broadcast and digital sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Maximize share of business from an assigned list of local and regional accounts.
• Develop new revenue.
• Establish credible relationships within our business community.
• Contribute to the creative development of campaigns through client communications and needs analysis, collaborate with storyboard plus message creation and assistance in production.
• Review performance analytics that effectively analyze how customer goals were met or exceeded with the goal of increasing retention and upsell.
