Job summary

McKenney’s Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to advise on buyouts for HVAC equipment and related materials. You will partner with project teams, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives across construction projects.

Responsibilities include reviewing quotes, creating POs/subcontracts, and supporting process improvements. Strong MS Office and 3–5 years of procurement experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• Solid MS Office skills and computer proficiency.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Review quotes, lead times, specs, and negotiate buyout recommendations.
• Advise project teams on vendor selection and value alternatives.
• Create material tracking logs, write POs and subcontracts.
• Escalate performance issues to vendors and collect feedback onsite.
• Research invoice discrepancies and maintain pricing databases.
• Develop SOPs and support process improvements in purchasing.
