Job summary

North Ridge Health and Rehab is seeking a full-time Clinical Reimbursement / MDS Director to lead the MDS team in Minnesota. The role focuses on coordinating the interdisciplinary assessment process, ensuring timely and accurate MDS submissions, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Applicants should have RN licensure in Minnesota, CPR certification, and 2–3 years of MDS coordination experience, with strong knowledge of case mix and payor requirements.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Minnesota.
• CPR certification.
• 2–3 years of MDS Coordinator/Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator experience.
• Strong knowledge of Minnesota case mix.
• Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the MDS department and provide leadership and coaching to the MDS team.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary assessment process with nursing, therapy, dietary, social services and other departments.
• Ensure timely, accurate completion and submission of MDS assessments and related documentation.
• Handle intake of forms, notes, and lab results and document into the resident's electronic medical record.
• Maintain strong understanding of MDS rules, PPS, RAI, and Medicare regulations as applicable.
