Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and minimum of two to three years related experience and/or training within the accounting/finance function.
• Must have advanced Excel spreadsheet experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update matter budgets using client templates and approved inputs.
• Compile fee, cost, rate, and staffing data from accounting sources.
• Verify template calculations and prepare budgets for submission.
• Coordinate with financial reporting to obtain complete data for budgets.
• Maintain records of submitted budgets and revisions.
• Track budget requests and deadlines with practice managers.
• Communicate budget status clearly to team members.
