Job summary

The role supports daily and weekly tactical planning, analyzes fill rates, inventory investments and forecast deviations, and coordinates with suppliers and production to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a planning/materials function/role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent coordination with supervisors and co-workers.
• 5–7 years or more experience in a related position.

Responsibilities

• Deal directly with suppliers to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries and expedite materials as needed.
• Confer with supervisors to determine overdue project materials and provide status updates.
• Generate open purchase order reports and resolve invoice/credit issues with suppliers.
• Maintain Engineering Change Notices in SAP following SOPs.
• Update Material Master status to keep Safety Stocks accurate.
• Identify critical path materials and establish contingency plans to meet deadlines.
• Track material delivery dates and coordinate with production as required.

Education
