Job summary

Therm-x of California is seeking a Materials Manager in Hayward, CA to lead procurement and materials planning. You will work with vendors and internal teams to optimize inventory, costs, and on-time delivery within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and expertise in purchasing, materials management, and ERP systems. Competitive compensation includes medical, dental, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership in procurement/planning.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, supplies, and equipment for production.
• Support the transition to a new ERP system and set standards.
• Train and develop procedures to manage efficiencies in Purchasing and Warehouse.
• Develop and track KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Plan inventory levels and stock to ensure material availability.
• Monitor supply chain for timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
• Forecast material requirements with production team.
