Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs seeks a seasoned Materials Planning leader to drive MRP accuracy, inventory optimization, and production scheduling in a manufacturing setting. You will guide data-driven strategies, oversee ERP/MRP configurations, and lead a planning team to ensure reliable material availability.

Responsibilities include enhancing inventory turns, reducing stockouts, and aligning on-hand quantities with square set requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5–7 years in materials planning, production scheduling, or manufacturing SCM.
3–5 years leading planning or supply chain teams.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of material planning strategies for SIOP and production schedules.
Oversee MRP system performance and data integrity.
Improve MRP signals, item master attributes, safety stock policies, and order parameters.
Streamline purchase order generation signals for automation.
Mitigate material shortages and supply risks.
Create and manage material dashboards for timely availability.
Establish optimal inventory levels to reduce costs and prevent stockouts.
Reduce excess and obsolete inventory while maintaining continuity.
Improve inventory turns and accuracy.
Ensure on-hand quantities align with square set requirements.
