Job summary

BorgWarner seeks a Materials Planner to analyze demand patterns and inventory accuracy, coordinating with Production Scheduling, Customer Service, Quality, Operations and Engineering to improve material availability and on-time delivery.

The role requires expertise in SAP/MRP, ERP data analysis, and collaboration across functions to optimize supply chain performance and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Analyze historical demand, forecasts, releases, consumption, variability and trends.
• Translate demand into replenishment strategies and SAP parameters.
• Review planning parameters in SAP to align with demand.
• Support S&OP with data-driven analysis.
• Conduct cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRP and exception-message management; schedule changes and escalations.
• Maintain material master data, POs, and scheduling data.
• Identify recurring exceptions and root causes; implement corrections.
• Use SAP reports, data and Excel for analysis.
• Participate in ERP/EDI/master-data/planning-process improvements.
